New "babies ballet" class:
Due to popular demand we will be starting an additional "babies ballet" class on Saturdays from September at 9.45. am at Marden Lodge School in Caterham. This is addition to the current popular Monday class. Girls and boys from the age of 2 1/2 are welcome to join this fun class. We learn the foundations of ballet by using our imaginations, singing songs and dancing with lots of fun props. It is a great way to encourage creativity and expend energy! Tapathon 2013:
Our Caterham dancing school is very excited to announce it's perticpation in this year's BBC Children in Need Tapathon. This will be held on the 17th November and tap pupils will have the opportunity tp take part in this world record breaking event! More details to follow!

Mmmmm! - Chocolate:

Michelle Bishop (former pupil of the Caterham dancing school) is to star as an original cast member of the new West End musical "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". It previews in May at the Theatre Royal in London and is directed by Sam Mendes (see left).
Adult Ballet:

Our popular new adult ballet class has started on Wednesday's at 8.30 pm in Caterham. It is a fun class with free work for all abilities. So far this term we have worked on "port de bras", turning, "pas de chat" amongst others. We start the class by watching real performances of ballet and then undertake a traditional ballet class with barre and centre work.
